Jare Gody

Jare Gody, Jare Feast or Jareas in Slavic culture was a ritual rite of winter ending and spring greeting.
The period of rituals and magical rituals, known from the pre-Christian folk culture of the Slavs, began preparations for the symbolic expulsion of winter, which consisted of melting or burning a straw puppet called Marzanna.
